2007 Annual Summary Report

During 2007, Unite For Sight provided eye care for more than 200,000 patients while coordinating and funding 6,032 surgeries. Combined in 2006 and 20007, Unite For Sight restored sight to 10,062 previously blind patients.

• International Volunteers Who Assisted Unite For Sight's Partner Eye Clinics in Ghana and India: 250 volunteers traveling abroad; 5,377 days of volunteer service
• 2,896 surgeries coordinated and funded in India
  • 1,271 surgeries for patients living in the Chennai region
  • 684 surgeries for patients living in the New Delhi region
  • 266 surgeries for patients living in the Bihar region
  • 400 surgeries for patients living in the Bhubaneswar region

• 68,000 eyeglasses distributed by Unite For Sight's partner eye clinics in Ghana and India
